How do I secure my account with MFA?

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) enhances security by requiring users to supply additional information to support their login attempts

Must know:

  • Each user on your Worldline merchant account must enroll in MFA on the Worldline portal.  

  • You will need to have your mobile device to enroll in MFA.

  • You will use an authenticator application on your mobile device. We recommend Microsoft Authenticator, but you can enroll using any authenticator app you currently use. 

  • If you use the same username or credentials for multiple merchant accounts, you must give each account in the authenticator a unique name to set up MFA for each merchant account. 

How do I enroll?

  1. Open Authenticator on your mobile device.
    • If you don't have an authenticator app, please download one from your phone's app store; we recommend Microsoft Authenticator, which is free.
  2. Select the plus icon on the top menu bar.
  3. In the Add account page, choose 'Other (Google, Facebook, etc)'.
    • This may open the app's QR code scanner; if not, you may have to tap ‘Scan QR code.’

  4. From your computer, go to our login page and enter your login credentials.
    • If you were logged in before adding the account to your authenticator app, please click the Cancel button on the enrollment screen and log in again.
    • Once logged in you will be prompted with the MFA enrollment screen.
  5. Scan the QR code presented on the MFA enrollment screen after you log in, using your front-facing camera.
    Access your QR code or key by logging into web.na.bambora.com.
    • If you can't use your camera to scan a QR Code, tap 'Enter code manually' on your mobile.
    • Manually enter an Account Name (for example, Worldline) in the Account name field.
    • Manually enter the key displayed on the Worldline portal in the Secret key field.
    • Click ‘Finish.'
  6. Once your account has been added to the app, you will be provided with a six-digit, timed, one-time password.
    • You may have to tap on the account name to display the six-digit number.
  7. Enter the six-digit number into the field provided in the Worldline portal on your computer and click 'Submit.'

  8. You are now enrolled!

You will need your login credentials (username and password) and a six-digit code from the authenticator app each time you log in. You can not use the same passcode that you enrolled with. You need to open the authenticator app and use the unique code each time.

Good to know:

  • When you log into our Worldline portal, you will need to enroll in MFA on your account. For a limited time, you will have the option to skip this enrollment, but after this period, you will be required to enroll and enter the MFA code to access your account. The enrollment screen will display the MFA options once it is enforced in our system.
