How do I disable my payment form?

There could be several reasons a merchant would want to disable their payment form. A common example would be when the payment form is being used for carding, resulting in a high number of transactions and declines. To stop these declines immediately you will want to prevent the fraudster from accessing your payment form. Remove the payment form from your website or disable the form’s authentication method within the Portal.

Must know:

  • If you are breaking integration with Bambora, you need to be an administrator of your account to make changes to the Order Settings or have Full Access to Account Settings.
  • When the payment form is removed or the integration is broken, please note that you will not be able to collect payments from that form until you have re-integrated it with Bambora.

Good to know:

  • When breaking your payment form’s integration with Bambora, make sure to leave the form disabled for a while. The fraudster will eventually give up and move on from your form.
  • To prevent your payment form(s) from being used for carding in the future, consider adding security to your form such as CAPTCHA.
