PCI DSS 4.0 requires all third-party code to be removed from our platform. As our Payment Profile webform requires outside code to save customer profiles, this feature will be disabled on February 28, 2025. If you need to use a Payment Profile webform, you can move to our Custom Checkout with the Payment Profile API. Please review our development documents to learn more about how to implement Custom Checkout and Payment Profile API.
Secure Payment Profiles allows you to create consumer profiles to store confidential payment data. You can then process transactions against these profiles without needing to recollect any payment information.
You can create a Secure Payment Profile with the Portal or via a webform.
Must know:
- The Payment Profiles feature must be configured to your account.
- You will need Full Access to create a Payment Profiles within the Portal or you can use the Payment Profile Webform.
- Within the Portal go to Processing > Payment Profiles.
- Click ‘Add Account’.
- Fill in the information.
- Click ‘Add Account’.
- Within the Portal go to Reporting/Analysis.
- Using the filters in Transaction Search or Transaction Report locate the approved transaction you would like to add.
- Click on the transaction to open the ‘Transaction Details’
- Click ‘Add to Payment Profiles’.
Note: The hosted Webform will be disabled on February 28, 2025.
- Within the Portal go to Configuration > Payment Profile Webform.
- Configure the webform to include the information you would like to collect from your consumer.
- Click ‘View Preview’.
- A new window will open. This URL will allow you to access the Secure Payment Profile Web Form.
- A new Secure Payment Profile will be created each time someone submits the form.

Custom Checkout
Custom Checkout offers an embedded iframe solution to capture credit card data on your website securely. As Worldline is the one who receives the data this solution is PCI compliant and shifts the security liability. Additional works is required to save the received card information, for instructions visit our Developer Documentation Portal

While Worldline does not develop plugins, our open-source API enables integrations, and various plugins do exist. Please note that we cannot provide direct support for these plugins, but they may serve as a viable option to save on development time.

Good to know:
- You may store more than one credit card for each profile. Navigate to configuration > payment profile configuration to set the max number of cards.
- The Secure Payment Profile Web Form URL can be used by anyone with the link. Ensure to follow best practices to secure it.
