||Select the check box to enable CAV. Clear to turn off.
|Require CAV on all Transactions
When you select this check box, all transactions use CAV when sent to the Process Transaction API.
Note: When this option is disabled (check box cleared), merchants can still perform CAV by:
1) passing a parameter to the Process Transaction API called cavEnabled (1 - enabled, 0 – disabled).
2) Enable one of the available order validation methods—password or referring host validation. This prevents security from being compromised (the parameter cannot be changed by a third party). See Bambora’s Process Transaction API documentation for details on how to pass these parameters.
|Limit CAV Attempts
||Select the number of times invalid card information can be entered before a user is shut out of the system. This is the amount of attempts allowed in a two week period. This CAV setting is configured globally.
||Enter a value to create a CAV access passcode. CAV transactions are only completed if a code matching this value is passed with the transaction. If no value is entered, then no pass code restriction is made.
||Warning Flags are used to notify the merchant of problems identified as important information. For each situation, you can choose to have the system automatically pass or fail a transaction.
