A number of additional security settings can also be customized in Order Settings. These settings are designed for merchants doing advanced integrations using the Bambora API. Consult your developer, and review our documentation on API Security and Authentication.
To enable higher security features, click administration from the menu, account settings, and order settings. The settings listed below are under the Payment Gateway and Security Authentication.
Validate referring host
Validate Referring Host means that transactions are only processed if they come through a designated URL or purchase page. If fraudulent transactions are attempted from another location, Bambora makes sure no processing takes place.
Validate orders against inventory
Select this check box to compare the quantity and price of each item the customer selected against the data you have listed in your online inventory. If the values do not match, the transaction amount is flagged as Invalid and the transaction is declined.
This option is required with the Inventory Upload, to maintain current inventory data on the Bambora host.
Developers can activate this option if they want to implement hash validation as an added security feature.
