CVV numbers are the 3-digit card verification numbers on the back of most credit cards, or the 4-digit number on the front of an American Express credit card. CVV numbers are also known as CVV or CVV2 (Card Verification Value) numbers.
CVV numbers cannot be obtained by fraudulently skimming data during the swipe process, so accepting these numbers helps verify that a customer is the valid owner of a card.
If you created your own custom payment forms, make sure you include a field to receive this information before you set this restriction.
